Western Star Models Buried Intrusive Bodies and Fluid Conduits Across Its Nevada Tungsten District

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has announced the results of a district-scale three-dimensional geophysical inversion across its Rowland and White Star tungsten properties in Elko County, Nevada. The modeling has defined buried and partially exposed intrusive bodies, refined the fault network that channeled mineralizing fluids into the tungsten skarn system, and expanded the potential search space significantly.

The inversion, completed by Warren Hughes, P.Geo., of East Coast Consulting, identified magnetic susceptibility contrasts that correlate with known geology and extend beneath Quaternary cover. The Company's highest-grade rock chip samples—4.02% WO3 at Rowland and 3.00% WO3 at White Star—are spatially associated with the contact between modeled intrusive rocks and carbonate host rocks, adjacent to interpreted structures. This relationship validates the exploration model and provides a clear vector for future drilling.

CEO Blake Morgan commented, “This is the result we were hoping for. The inversion has modeled intrusive bodies spatially associated with areas where we sampled high grade tungsten values, and it has mapped the faults that we believe carried the fluid there. That is the tungsten skarn recipe, and we can now see it in three dimensions across the whole district.”

The modeled intrusive framework extends well beyond mapped outcrops, revealing a larger footprint than previously known. Approximately 25 kilometers of structures have been interpreted in two dominant orientations: northeast-southwest and northwest-southeast. These are considered the primary fluid conduits for the skarn system, providing a structural framework at property scale for the first time.

The magnetic domains correspond closely with units mapped by Coats (1964), lending confidence in both datasets. The inversion adds depth and continuity beneath the extensive Quaternary cover on the eastern flank, offering an exploration vector into areas that cannot be mapped or sampled at the surface.

Soil geochemistry from the Phase 2 program is expected shortly and will be integrated with the inversion model, structural framework, and geological mapping to define and rank drill targets. This integrated approach will support the drill program and permitting process currently underway.

The tungsten skarn model, as described in the U.S. Geological Survey assessment by Lederer et al. (2021), requires three essential elements: a granitic intrusion to drive the system, reactive carbonate rocks to host replacement, and structures to focus fluid flow. Both properties fit this model perfectly, with mapped intrusions, carbonate sequences, and skarn development at their contacts.

Western Star also announced it has satisfied the first performance milestone under the option agreement for the Rowland project. The company increased the claim area by approximately 165% to 221 hectares and identified four rock-chip samples grading above 2.0% WO3, exceeding the requirement of three samples. In accordance with the agreement, the company will issue 500,000 common shares to the vendors, valued at the 10-day volume-weighted average price before the verification date.

The technical information in this release has been reviewed by Jasper Mowatt, MIMMM, MAusIMM, a consultant to the company and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. The UAV magnetic survey was conducted by AJ Mining LLC using a DJI Matrice M300 with a GSMP-35U v8.0 potassium vapor magnetometer, and data processing and inversion were performed by Warren Hughes using Geosoft Oasis Montaj and MAG3D algorithm.

These results mark a significant step forward in understanding the district's geology and mineralization, positioning Western Star to advance its tungsten projects with greater confidence and precision.
