A new social live streaming platform targeting U.S. Latino soccer fans has launched, combining legendary broadcasters with digital creators to deliver real-time debate and analysis during the 2026 World Cup. VIVO Sports: After Party, announced today by Purpura Cow Media, Creator Sports Network, Brilla Media, and Nueva Network, will feature hosts Jorge Ramos, Fernando Fiore, and Peter Fraga in 90-minute broadcasts that focus on culture, controversy, and community rather than traditional match coverage.
The platform is designed as an alternative to conventional game broadcasts, with content centered on fan reactions, cultural commentary, and debate. Each program will stream simultaneously across platforms including Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, and will be amplified through creators in the Creator Sports Network. Mario Dueñas, CEO of Purpura Cow Media and executive producer of Vivo Sports, emphasized the scale and authenticity of the approach. “What makes the Vivo Sports – After Party compelling for brands is not only the legendary talents of Jorge and Fernando but scale at the moment it matters most,” he said. “Additionally, with our distribution through Creator Casts, brands aren’t just buying media—they’re tapping into live, trusted creator communities that already command massive, guaranteed, real-time audiences.”
The partnership brings together four media organizations: Purpura Cow Media as producer, Creator Sports Network activating top sports creators, Brilla Media handling co-production and brand integration, and Nueva Network contributing its Spanish-language audio network and digital platform Que Onnda. The alliance aims to reach U.S. Hispanic audiences aged 18-34 and 18-49, particularly during the heightened passion of the World Cup, which in 2026 will be hosted across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada with a record number of Latin American teams participating.
VIVO Sports is built for brand-safe, non-skippable integrations, offering advertisers customizable sponsorship opportunities embedded directly into live feeds. Formats include branded graphics, live moment triggers, lower thirds, long-form video units, and social extensions, allowing brands to become part of the cultural conversation rather than interrupt it. The platform is not affiliated with the World Cup but positions itself as a complementary space for fan engagement.
The first live shows launch on April 15th, with more than 50 programs planned throughout the 2026 Summer of Futbol. By leveraging trusted personalities and digital-native creators, VIVO Sports aims to establish a new model for live sports conversation that resonates with Latino soccer enthusiasts who increasingly turn to creators rather than traditional broadcasters for real-time sports passion.
