VinFast and GSM have announced significant leadership changes, appointing new executives to guide the companies through their next phase of global expansion. Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, currently Chairman of VinFast Global, will assume the role of CEO of VinFast Global, succeeding Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, while also serving as Chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam. At GSM, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan, currently CEO of GSM Global, has been appointed Chairman of GSM Global, succeeding Ms. Pham Thu Huong, and Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang will become CEO of GSM Global and concurrently CEO of GSM Vietnam.

These appointments come as Vingroup and its ecosystem companies accelerate leadership development and transition responsibilities to a younger generation, aligning with their growth trajectories. Both VinFast and GSM are entering periods of strong global growth, making these leadership changes particularly important. The shift not only addresses the demands of the next development phase but also reflects confidence in the companies' international futures.

Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, born in 1993, holds a Bachelor's degree from Singapore Management University and has held key leadership roles at VinFast and other Vingroup companies. He was appointed Chairman of VinFast Global in May 2026 and will continue as CEO of VinMetal Trading and Production JSC. His comprehensive responsibility for VinFast's operations positions him to lead the company as it expands its global footprint. In his comment, Mr. Quan Anh stated, "I am deeply honored by the Board of Directors' trust and confidence in entrusting me with the additional responsibility. Built on a strong foundation established over the years and supported by the growing confidence of customers across our markets, VinFast is well positioned to seize the significant opportunities ahead and further strengthen its role in advancing the global transition to sustainable mobility."

Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, born in 2000, has held senior leadership positions at VinFast, Green Future, VinSmart Future, GSM, and other companies. He has also invested in and serves as a major shareholder of several industrial, technology, energy, and infrastructure companies within the Vingroup ecosystem, including VinSpeed, VinEnergo, VinMetal, VinVentures, and robotics companies. His appointment as CEO of GSM Global and GSM Vietnam underscores GSM's ambition to scale globally.

VinFast currently operates in 16 countries, including Vietnam, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, with manufacturing facilities in Vietnam, Indonesia, and India. GSM, operating its Green SM brand, is present in seven countries: Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Kazakhstan, and Denmark, and plans to expand into at least three additional markets this year. GSM also aims to become a publicly listed company on an international stock exchange. These leadership transitions are crucial for navigating the complexities of international expansion, ensuring continuity, and driving innovation in the competitive electric vehicle and mobility sectors.

The appointments highlight Vingroup's commitment to nurturing internal talent and positioning its companies for sustained global success. As VinFast and GSM continue to grow, the new leaders will play pivotal roles in shaping their strategies and operations, with significant implications for the broader electric vehicle and green mobility markets.
