Verizon Announces Massive Free Ticket Drop for FIFA World Cup 2026

Verizon, the Official Telecommunication Services Sponsor for FIFA World Cup 2026, has announced its largest free ticket giveaway for customers, with over 2,500 tickets to be released on June 1 across all U.S. host cities. The announcement coincides with a new commercial featuring David Beckham, highlighting Verizon's "Ultimate Access" to the tournament.

According to Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon, the company is focused on providing customers with exclusive access and experiences. "This is our biggest FIFA World Cup ticket drop yet for the most highly anticipated sporting event," Berland said. The tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis exclusively through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app. Customers can claim tickets to matches within 150 miles of their home address, as travel and accommodation are not included.

The ticket drop on June 1 at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 12:00 PM PT will include hundreds of "Golden Tickets" for pitchside access. Matches are scheduled in all U.S. host cities, including Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Atlanta, New York/New Jersey, Miami, and Philadelphia, with specific match numbers and times listed for each time zone.

Verizon is also enhancing the fan experience with the FOX One perk. New Verizon Home Internet customers can get three months of FOX One on us, while myPlan customers can add FOX One as a monthly perk for $15/month, a savings of nearly $5 off the standard retail price. This perk provides live and on-demand content, ensuring fans never miss a moment of the action.

Beyond tickets, Verizon is powering the tournament with advanced 5G and fiber technology, delivering connectivity upgrades across all host stadiums and Fan Festivals. More information on Verizon's role in building the digital backbone of the tournament is available here.

This announcement underscores Verizon's commitment to providing customers with unparalleled access to major events, leveraging its network and partnerships to enhance the fan experience. The ticket drop represents a significant opportunity for fans to attend matches of the world's biggest sporting event without the cost of tickets, though travel and lodging remain their responsibility.
