The Dairy Alliance Celebrates National Dairy Month with 'Milk's Got Game' and Dairy Nights at the Ballpark

The Dairy Alliance is celebrating National Dairy Month this June with its 'Milk's Got Game' initiative and a series of 'Dairy Nights at the Ballpark' in partnership with minor league teams across the Southeast, including the Bowling Green Hot Rods, Lexington Legends, Biloxi Shuckers, Burlington Sock Puppets, and Danville Dairy Daddies. These events aim to highlight how real dairy milk fuels strength, performance, and active lifestyles while bringing communities together through baseball.

Throughout the month, fans attending select games can experience interactive concourse activations, on-field promotions, educational moments, dairy food sampling, and dairy-themed giveaways. The activations showcase the essential nutrients in real milk and its role in helping athletes and families stay fueled and hydrated. For example, on June 26, a Dairy Night celebration is planned with the Bowling Green Hot Rods.

'Dairy Nights at the Ballpark are a fun and meaningful way to connect with communities during National Dairy Month,' said Farrah Newby, CEO of The Dairy Alliance. 'Through our Milk's Got Game initiative, we're highlighting how real dairy milk fuels strength, performance, and recovery—whether on the field or in everyday life—while also celebrating dairy farmers and the communities they support.'

National Dairy Month is an annual celebration every June that honors dairy farmers and highlights the role of dairy foods like milk, cheese, and yogurt in a balanced diet. Through partnerships with minor league teams, The Dairy Alliance continues its mission of promoting dairy's value in health, wellness, and community connection. The nonprofit, funded by dairy farm families of the Southeast, works across eight states including Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
