Skyharbour Resources Signs Option Agreement with Purecore Metals for Yurchison Uranium Property

Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SYH) (OTCQX: SYHBF) (Frankfurt: SC1P) has signed a definitive option agreement with Purecore Metals (CSE: PURE), granting Purecore the right to earn up to a 100% interest in the Yurchison uranium property located in northern Saskatchewan. This agreement is a key step in Skyharbour's strategy to leverage its extensive Athabasca Basin portfolio through partnerships while concentrating its own exploration efforts on its flagship Moore and Russell Lake projects.

Under the terms of the agreement, Purecore can earn an initial 70% interest by making cash payments totaling C$350,000, issuing C$700,000 in shares, and incurring C$3.5 million in exploration expenditures over a three-year period. Following that, Purecore has the option to acquire the remaining 30% interest by paying an additional C$3 million in cash and C$3 million in shares. Skyharbour will retain a 2% net smelter return royalty on the property.

The Yurchison property comprises 22 claims covering approximately 35,029 hectares, situated about 75 kilometers south of Cameco's Rabbit Lake operation, with Highway 905 providing access. Historical rock samples from the area have returned uranium values ranging from 0.09% to 0.30% U3O8 and molybdenum values from 2,500 to 6,400 ppm. Modern airborne electromagnetic, magnetic, and radiometric surveys were completed in 2022 and 2023, adding to the property's prospectivity.

This agreement aligns with Skyharbour's broader business model of generating value from its large land position in the Athabasca Basin through strategic partnerships. The company has already established joint ventures with industry leaders such as Denison Mines and Orano Canada, and has multiple earn-in agreements with other partners. In aggregate, these partnerships could bring in over $79 million in partner-funded exploration expenditures and over $52 million in cash and share payments to Skyharbour, assuming all earn-ins are completed.

Skyharbour's focus remains on advancing its core Moore and Russell Lake projects, which host high-grade uranium mineralization. The Moore project, located 15 kilometers east of Denison's Wheeler River project and 39 kilometers south of Cameco's McArthur River mine, has yielded drill results of up to 6.0% U3O8 over 5.9 meters, including 20.8% U3O8 over 1.5 meters. The Russell Lake project area, adjacent to Moore, is being advanced with joint venture partner Denison Mines.

The Yurchison option agreement is a testament to Skyharbour's ability to attract partners to its portfolio, thereby reducing financial risk while maintaining upside potential. This approach allows the company to continue its exploration programs on its most promising assets, funded in part by these partnerships. As the uranium market fundamentals improve, Skyharbour is well positioned to benefit from both its own projects and the success of its partners.
