Scinai Immunotherapeutics Secures Expanded IIA Grant for Robotic Fill & Finish Platform

Scinai Immunotherapeutics Ltd. (NASDAQ: SCNI) announced that the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) has approved expanded support for its project to advance a robotic aseptic fill & finish platform. Following additional review, the IIA allowed the company to utilize the full approved grant budget of NIS 5 million over two years, approximately 66% of which is non-dilutive funding. This program supports the acquisition and validation of a fully automated robotic-arm aseptic fill & finish system aligned with EU GMP Annex 1 standards, with validation targeted for the third quarter of 2026.

The investment is a key component of Scinai's broader contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) expansion strategy, following its acquisition of Recipharm Israel Ltd. and a commercial collaboration with Recipharm. This strengthens Scinai's integrated two-site manufacturing platform and enhances its sterile biologics capabilities while maintaining disciplined capital allocation through maximized non-dilutive funding. The robotic fill & finish system is expected to improve efficiency, reduce contamination risk, and meet stringent regulatory requirements, positioning Scinai to better serve its clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Scinai operates two sites in Israel: a biologics development and clinical manufacturing facility in Jerusalem and a small-molecule API development and GMP manufacturing site in Yavne. The CDMO unit provides fee-for-service solutions from preclinical development through Phase I/II clinical supply, including biologics process development, analytical method development, sterile fill and finish, clinical cGMP manufacturing, and small-molecule API process development and GMP production. Through its strategic collaboration with Recipharm, Scinai offers clients a pathway from early clinical development to late-stage and commercial manufacturing within Recipharm's global network, ensuring continuity and reducing scale-up risk.

In parallel, Scinai is advancing a focused immunology R&D pipeline, including PC111, a first-in-class anti-FasL monoclonal antibody targeting orphan dermatologic indications, and next-generation NanoAb-based programs in inflammation. The company is seeking strategic partnerships, co-development agreements, and regional licensing opportunities to advance these programs toward clinical validation.

The expanded IIA grant underscores Scinai's commitment to enhancing its manufacturing capabilities and supporting its clients with high-quality, compliant services.
