Returnstar Launches IQVideo LCS810 Lecture Capture System for Hybrid Classrooms

Returnstar Technology has announced the launch of the IQVideo LCS810 Lecture Capture System, an all-in-one solution designed to support lecture recording, live streaming, and hybrid classroom collaboration. As universities increasingly adopt blended learning models, the LCS810 aims to provide educators with a simple and reliable way to capture lectures and deliver interactive remote teaching.

The system integrates video recording, live broadcasting, and collaboration tools into a single platform, helping institutions modernize classroom infrastructure while expanding access to learning. A key feature of the LCS810 is its 15.6-inch high-definition touch screen, which allows instructors and administrators to control recording, streaming, and video layouts directly from the device. The intuitive interface reduces operational complexity and enables educators to focus on teaching rather than technical setup.

For professional lecture production, the system supports eight layout modes and multiple transition effects for flexible video composition. Users can customize subtitles, station logos, and opening or closing graphics to enhance the viewing experience. The LCS810 supports 4K UHD recording, ensuring high-resolution capture of teaching materials and classroom presentations. Flexible recording options include scheduled recording, segmented recording, and simultaneous recording of multiple channels, with a built-in 1TB storage drive for long-duration content archiving.

Designed for modern learning environments, the LCS810 enables live streaming through RTMP and HLS protocols, allowing lectures to be broadcast directly to platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. This capability supports hybrid classrooms and flipped learning models where students can participate either in person or online. An optional low-latency interaction module supports 1-to-9 remote collaboration, enabling up to ten participants to communicate in real time. For larger deployments, the system can connect with external MCU servers to support expanded collaboration scenarios.

The LCS810 also supports UVC and UAC protocols for driver-free connection to computers via USB output, allowing it to work directly with popular conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Institutions can easily integrate lecture capture with their existing video conferencing infrastructure. The system supports multiple video input methods including RTSP, ONVIF, HDMI, and USB, making it compatible with a wide range of cameras and AV equipment. An optional built-in audio processor provides echo cancellation, noise suppression, and automatic mixing to ensure clear sound during recording and live interaction.

The IQVideo LCS810 has already been deployed in multiple university projects worldwide, where institutions use the system to record lectures, build digital learning libraries, and support real-time remote class interaction. Its flexible integration and reliable performance make it suitable for both academic education and professional training environments.

"Educational institutions are looking for solutions that make hybrid teaching simple and scalable," said Jason, Overseas Marketing Director at Returnstar Technology. "The IQVideo LCS810 combines professional lecture capture, live streaming, and interactive collaboration into one integrated system. Our goal is to help educators expand access to learning while maintaining high-quality teaching experiences."
