Powermax Minerals Completes 2026 Field Program at Cameron REE Project, Expanding Exploration Data

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has announced the completion of its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. Conducted in July and August, the program included geological mapping, prospecting, rock-chip, soil and stream-sediment sampling, and handheld radiometric screening across priority target areas. The company collected a total of 250 samples, comprising 50 rock-chip, 50 soil, and 150 stream-sediment samples, which have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories in Calgary for analysis.

The program was designed to expand geological and geochemical coverage of areas identified through previous sampling, mapped pegmatites, geological contacts, and drainage catchments. Following receipt of laboratory results and completion of its QA/QC review, Powermax plans to integrate the analytical data with geological and radiometric field information to refine and rank targets for potential additional surface work, trenching, or future drill evaluation.

This announcement is significant because it advances the Cameron REE Project, which is part of Powermax's broader strategy to develop rare earth element assets in Canada and the United States. Rare earth elements are critical for modern technologies, including electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense applications, making domestic sources increasingly valuable. The completion of this field program brings the company closer to identifying drill-ready targets, which could unlock the project's economic potential.

Powermax Minerals Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. In addition to the Cameron REE Property, which comprises three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares in British Columbia, the company holds options to acquire the Atikokan REE Property in NW Ontario (455 unpatented mining claims) and the 5,178-hectare Pinard REE Property in Northern Ontario. Powermax also owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming. This diversified portfolio positions the company to capitalize on the growing demand for rare earth elements across multiple jurisdictions.

The results from the 2026 program are expected to provide critical data that will guide the company's next steps. By integrating geochemical and radiometric data, Powermax aims to prioritize targets that show the most promise for REE mineralization. The company's systematic approach underscores its commitment to thorough exploration and development, which is essential for advancing projects in the competitive mining sector.

For investors, this development signals steady progress in Powermax's exploration efforts. The successful completion of the field program and the pending laboratory results are key milestones that could influence the company's valuation and future project decisions. As rare earth elements continue to gain strategic importance globally, projects like Cameron REE could become increasingly attractive to investors seeking exposure to the critical minerals sector.
