Powermax Minerals Commences Airborne Surveys and Field Exploration at Ontario REE Properties

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has commenced high-resolution helicopter-borne geophysical surveys and field exploration programs at its Pinard and Hopkins rare earth element (“REE”) properties in Ontario, the company announced in a press release. The airborne programs, conducted by Geo Data Solutions GDS Inc., will collect magnetic, radiometric spectrometric and VLF-EM data to help identify geological structures, alteration patterns, radiometric anomalies and other features prospective for REE mineralization.

The Pinard survey is planned to cover approximately 1,319 line-kilometres, while the Hopkins program will span approximately 1,623 line-kilometres across the Hopkins West and Hopkins East survey blocks. In parallel with the airborne work, Powermax has initiated field prospecting, geological mapping and sampling programs at both properties. The company said results from the geophysical surveys and field exploration activities will be integrated with existing geological information to prioritize targets for follow-up exploration.

CEO Paul Gorman said the combination of high-resolution geophysical data and field-based exploration is expected to provide a strong technical foundation for advancing the company’s Ontario REE portfolio and guiding the next phase of exploration. The news is significant as it marks a key step in advancing these early-stage REE projects, which are part of the growing interest in rare earth elements critical for renewable energy technologies and electronics.

Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. The company holds options to acquire the Cameron REE Property in British Columbia, the Atikokan REE Property in NW Ontario, and the 5,178-hectare Pinard REE in Northern Ontario, and owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Wyoming. The exploration efforts underscore the strategic importance of domestic REE supply chains, as countries seek to reduce dependence on foreign sources for these critical minerals. The airborne surveys and field programs will provide crucial data to delineate drill targets, potentially leading to the discovery of economic REE deposits.
