Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) has announced the start of its 2026 exploration program at its 100%-owned Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project in British Columbia. The initiative builds on encouraging findings from previous campaigns and is designed to advance the project toward potential drilling.

The three-week program will integrate geological mapping, prospecting, and sampling of rock, soil, and stream sediments, along with ground radiometric surveys and comprehensive data analysis. These efforts are intended to refine REE target corridors, identify potential bedrock sources, and prioritize areas for future trenching and first-pass drilling.

Earlier Phase 1 and 2 exploration at Cameron delineated enrichment of both light and heavy rare earth elements across multiple geological units. Soil samples returned total rare earth oxide values of up to approximately 2,840 ppm, while surface rock samples reached 740 ppm. These results underscore the project's potential for hosting economically significant REE mineralization.

The Cameron Project spans 2,984 hectares and benefits from access to established transportation infrastructure. In addition to REEs, the property is prospective for niobium and other critical minerals, enhancing its strategic value in the growing demand for rare earth elements used in technology and clean energy applications.
