Perkins Welcomes Fall with Pumpkin Favorites and Value Meal Deal

Perkins Restaurant and Bakery is gearing up for the fall season with the return of its popular pumpkin-themed menu items and a new value proposition that includes a burger, fries, and a slice of pie starting at $10.99. The seasonal offerings, available beginning August 26 for a limited time, feature the Maple Bacon Pumpkin Platter, Pumpkin Pancakes, Pumpkin Pie, and seasonal beverages like the Iced Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew and Hot Pumpkin Spice Coffee. This move underscores Perkins' commitment to blending comfort food traditions with everyday affordability.

For over six decades, Perkins has been a go-to destination for pumpkin-flavored treats, and this year's lineup aims to capture the essence of fall from breakfast to dessert. The new Maple Bacon Pumpkin Platter is described as the star of the season, featuring pumpkin pancakes layered with a creamy cheesecake filling, topped with a signature Maple Bacon glaze and whipped topping, and served with eggs and a choice of bacon or sausage. Returning favorites include the Pumpkin Pancake Platter and the Potato Pancake Stacker Platter, both designed to deliver hearty, comforting meals. Additionally, Perkins is offering its oversized Pumpkin Mammoth Muffin and the classic Pumpkin Pie, which the company says has made it a leader in pumpkin season for years. Beverage options include the iced and hot pumpkin spice coffee drinks, catering to those who prefer their fall flavors in a cup.

The value meal deal, aptly named Burger, Fries and Pie, is available all day and allows guests to choose from a Classic Cheeseburger or one of Perkins' Smashed Burgers, with combo pricing starting at $10.99 for the Classic Smash, $11.99 for the Mushroom Swiss Smash, and $12.99 for the Guacamole Bacon Smash. Each combo includes fries and a slice of pie, with pie choices ranging from Caramel Apple to Lemon Meringue and Peanut Butter Silk. This offering effectively makes dessert a part of the meal rather than an extra, a strategy that aligns with Perkins' focus on providing complete, satisfying dining experiences.

Matt Carpenter, Brand President for Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, emphasized the brand's dedication to comfort and tradition, stating, "Fall at Perkins has always been about comfort and tradition. As the leading family dining brand with a bakery, we have a responsibility to make every visit feel like home, and pairing that comfort with real everyday value through our Burger, Fries and Pie deal is exactly how we deliver on it." This sentiment highlights the dual focus on seasonal nostalgia and economic sensibility, which could resonate with families looking for affordable dining options as the holiday season approaches.

The announcement comes at a time when consumers are increasingly seeking value in their dining choices, especially with ongoing economic pressures. By combining a seasonal menu with a budget-friendly bundle, Perkins is positioning itself to attract both loyal customers and new visitors. The inclusion of pie in the meal deal also differentiates Perkins from competitors, leveraging its bakery heritage to offer a sweet ending that enhances perceived value. As the fall season kicks off, Perkins appears well-prepared to meet consumer demand for both festive flavors and cost-effective meals.
