ChillyRoom Game's Independent Studio Crit Team has announced that a public multiplayer demo for No Such Place, its upcoming top-down PvE extraction shooter, will be available on Steam on June 15, 2026, ahead of Steam Next Fest. The demo provides access to the game's early progression and supports both solo play and 1–4 player online co-op. It is available in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Part of the player's demo progression data will carry over into the full release, which is expected in Q4 2026.
In No Such Place, players assume the role of agents from the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.), a mysterious organization dedicated to investigating supernatural anomalies erased from known history. Dispatched into fragmented dimensions, players must survive hostile environments, gather supplies and intelligence, and locate an extraction point before time runs out. The game features a flexible weapon customization system where corrupted technology allows mixing and matching parts, such as attaching a motorcycle suppressor to an assault rifle or mounting a Victorian brass scope on modern military hardware.
Progression systems include physical attributes and weapon proficiencies that grow with experience, as well as a Safehouse that can be built and upgraded using resources recovered during expeditions. The demo also includes 4-player online co-op, allowing teams to coordinate roles and maximize gains before extraction. According to the developer, "No one survives the anomaly alone."
The full game is set to release on Steam in Q4 2026. Interested players can watch the latest multiplayer trailer on YouTube and visit the Steam page to download the demo. For more information, the official website is available at nsp.chillyroom.com.
