City Pass, Inc. announced significant upgrades to the New York CityPASS® program, introducing a fully flexible ticket format, two new premier attractions, and a price reduction. The changes, effective September 10, 2026, give travelers more control over their New York experience while continuing the program's nearly 30-year tradition of convenience and savings.
The New York CityPASS ticket now allows visitors to choose any five attractions from a curated collection of 10. The expanded lineup includes the newly added Edge Observation Deck & Immersive Experience and the Whitney Museum of American Art, joining the Empire State Building Observation Deck, American Museum of Natural History, Top of the Rock® Observation Deck, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Statue of Liberty Grounds and Ellis Island Official Ferry, Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises, Intrepid Museum, and Guggenheim Museum.
Alongside the added flexibility, CityPASS has lowered prices. Adult tickets decrease from $164 to $149, while child tickets drop from $136 to $129. Advertised savings increase to as much as 51% off combined admission prices. Edge Observation Deck & Immersive Experience, located at Hudson Yards, is the highest indoor and outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, suspended more than 1,100 feet above Manhattan. It offers glass floors, angled glass walls, Skyline Seats, and 360-degree views. A recent indoor transformation added immersive installations including NYC's largest kaleidoscope, the Pulse infinity room with 450 glowing orbs, 260 spinning mirrors in the Reflections light show, and a canopy of giant colorful crystals in the Crystal Cave. The Whitney Museum of American Art, in Manhattan's Meatpacking District, is renowned for its collection of 20th- and 21st-century American art, with works by Edward Hopper, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Andy Warhol.
