New PAR38 LED Retrofit Lamp with 45 Configurations Simplifies Commercial Lighting Upgrades

PAR LED Lights has unveiled the HyLite LED Lotus Lamp LS-1830, a new PAR38 LED retrofit lamp that combines 45 distinct lighting configurations into a single product. The announcement, made on September 10, 2026, signals a shift in how businesses can approach commercial lighting upgrades by simplifying inventory and increasing adaptability.

Unlike traditional PAR38 lamps, which require selecting a specific wattage, color temperature, and beam pattern before installation, the LS-1830 allows users to choose from three wattage settings (18W, 25W, and 30W), five color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K), and three beam angles (25°, 40°, and 60°). This flexibility means one lamp can serve multiple purposes across a facility, from accent lighting in retail stores to broader illumination in offices and restaurants.

The implications for facility managers and lighting professionals are significant. Rather than stocking separate lamps for different settings, they can rely on a single SKU that covers a wide range of needs. This reduces inventory costs and simplifies maintenance, especially in large buildings where lighting requirements vary by area. The lamp's high color rendering index (CRI) above 90 also makes it suitable for art galleries and showrooms where accurate color representation is critical.

With a standard E26 medium screw base and a diameter of approximately 4.75 inches, the LS-1830 is designed to fit existing PAR38 applications, operating on 100–277VAC universal input voltage. It is compatible with track lighting, recessed downlights, and enclosed fixtures, provided thermal requirements are met. The lamp is positioned as a replacement for 180W–300W halogen bulbs, offering energy savings of up to 90% in qualifying applications. Its rated life of 50,000 to 60,000 hours further reduces relamping frequency, particularly in hard-to-reach installations.

Additional features include IP54 protection, 4kV surge protection, intelligent temperature control, a proprietary heat-sink design, and an optical-grade, UV-protected lens. The lamp is also 98% recyclable and contains no lead or mercury. A five-year manufacturer warranty backs the product.

PAR LED Lights plans to position the LS-1830 alongside its existing PAR56 and PAR64 LED retrofit solutions, offering customers a broader range of choices for upgrading directional and PAR lighting systems.
