NeuroOne White Paper Highlights StereoCED™ Platform to Address Scalability Challenges in CNS Drug Delivery

NeuroOne Medical Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: NMTC) has published a white paper titled "StereoCED™ - A Scalable Platform for CNS Drug Delivery," available from the Scientific Resources section of www.nmtc1.com. The document addresses the growing demand for efficient, reproducible methods of delivering cell and gene therapies, biologics, and other central nervous system (CNS) therapeutics directly to the brain. While convection-enhanced delivery (CED) can bypass the blood-brain barrier and achieve targeted drug distribution, current approaches may present challenges as therapies move toward broader commercial use.

The StereoCED™ platform is designed to leverage robotic stereotactic systems already used in neurosurgical operating rooms, supporting simultaneous, multi-trajectory intracranial drug delivery through a streamlined robotic workflow. This approach aims to reduce procedure time significantly while enabling reproducible, scalable therapeutic delivery. The platform is under development and has not yet received FDA clearance or approval for commercialization.

Dave Rosa, President and Chief Executive Officer of NeuroOne, noted that brain-delivered therapeutics are at an inflection point, with some intracranial infusion procedures lasting 8 to 12 hours potentially becoming a bottleneck to commercial adoption. "We believe healthcare systems will need solutions that leverage established neurosurgical workflows, significantly reduce procedure time, and support scalable delivery across hospitals," Rosa said. "StereoCED™ is being designed with those needs in mind, and we look forward to device availability for research and investigational clinical studies by fiscal year-end."

NeuroOne markets a minimally invasive electrode technology platform with four FDA-cleared product families: Evo® Cortical Electrodes, Evo® sEEG Electrodes, OneRF® Ablation System (for brain), and OneRF® Trigeminal Nerve Ablation System. The company is also engaged in research and development for drug delivery, basivertebral nerve ablation, and spinal cord stimulation programs.
