Personal injury firm Mishkind Kulwicki Law Co., LPA has announced the launch of its Helping Victims Scholarship, a $1,000 award designed to support students from any academic discipline who share the firm's commitment to helping individuals harmed by negligence, recklessness, or malicious actions. The scholarship aims to invest in future professionals across fields such as social work, counseling, medicine, advocacy, and public policy, recognizing that the law is just one of many disciplines serving victims in need.
According to the firm, a victim in personal injury law terms is someone who has suffered physical or psychological harm due to another's wrongful conduct. Attorney Howard D. Mishkind emphasized the firm's dedication to shouldering clients' legal burdens so they can focus on healing. “We feel fortunate to do the work we do,” Mishkind said. “We take pride in shouldering our clients' legal burdens so they can focus on healing and getting back to the way their lives were before they suffered an unnecessary injury or loss.”
Attorney David A. Kulwicki highlighted the broader impact of supporting students passionate about helping others. “The more people who are out in the world doing good to help victims in need, the better and more compassionate the world will be,” Kulwicki said. “We want to support the education of a goal-oriented student with a passion for helping others.”
For full eligibility requirements and application materials, interested students are encouraged to visit the scholarship page on the firm's website. All application materials must be submitted by March 31, 2027, and the $1,000 scholarship winner will be announced in May 2027. Completed applications should be emailed to dkulwicki@mishkindlaw.com.
