The Martial Arts History Museum will celebrate the grand opening of its new permanent Armenian Exhibit this Saturday, June 27, at 4:00 PM at its Glendale location. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, sponsored in part by US Armenia, underscores the museum's commitment to cultural diversity and community outreach.
The event will feature a live Armenian martial arts demonstration and speeches from dignitaries representing the City of Glendale. Light refreshments will be provided. Founded in 1999, the museum relocated to Glendale two years ago and has since broadened its scope beyond Asian martial arts to include global traditions. Rather than focusing solely on combat, the museum explores the art, history, culture, and traditions behind martial arts.
The permanent Armenian Exhibit represents a significant addition to the museum's diverse cultural offerings. Community members, martial arts enthusiasts, and media are invited to attend this free event at 201 N. Brand Blvd., B100, Glendale, CA 91203. For more information, visit MAmuseum.com.
