Loughlin Law, P.A., a Boca Raton-based firm, has announced that attorney Curtis Davis, Esq. has joined as Of Counsel. The addition of Davis, a former insurance defense lawyer and experienced trial attorney, significantly enhances the firm’s personal injury capabilities and offers clients a strategic advantage in navigating complex claims.
Davis’s background is notable because he spent the early part of his career representing insurance companies and their insureds in cases involving catastrophic multi-car accidents, wrongful death, product liability, and negligent security. That experience gave him an inside understanding of how insurers evaluate, defend, and approach claims—knowledge he now uses to advocate for injured individuals and families. This dual perspective is rare in personal injury law and can be pivotal in securing favorable outcomes for clients.
In 2022, Davis founded Davis Trial Law, a boutique Florida firm focused on personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and business and insurance disputes. His practice has emphasized individualized attention and dedicated representation for clients facing complex legal matters. He also brings substantial courtroom and trial experience to Loughlin Law, which is critical in an era where many personal injury cases are resolved through litigation.
Davis earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business, with minors in History and Leadership. He later obtained his law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he served on the executive board of Moot Court and was selected for membership in the Order of Barristers in recognition of his work in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2012 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
His professional involvement includes leadership roles with the Stephen R. Booher Inn of Court and Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court, as well as membership in the Florida Justice Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, and Broward County Bar Association. A Palm Beach resident, Davis is actively involved in the local community and shares Loughlin Law’s commitment to providing clients with personal attention, practical guidance, and compassionate representation.
For Loughlin Law, the addition of Davis represents a strategic expansion of its personal injury practice. The firm, which also handles estate planning and probate administration, continues to strengthen its ability to serve individuals and families throughout Florida while maintaining the personalized approach that has long been central to its mission.
