LIMES Schlosskliniken AG, a German operator of high-quality private clinics for stress-related and mental health disorders, signed a notarized preliminary agreement on June 17, 2026, to acquire the operating company of the "Villa Boccella" estate in Lucca, Tuscany. The expansion marks the company's entry into the Italian market, targeting an international clientele with a new mental health clinic.
The renovated, luxurious 14-hectare historic estate comprises eight buildings, including six villas with four swimming pools. The property features 37 rooms with 62 beds across approximately 3,100 square meters of living space. LIMES Schlosskliniken plans to develop a mental health clinic on the estate, subject to obtaining a clinic license from local authorities. The opening is scheduled for early summer 2027.
The new facility aims to bridge the gap between Paracelsus Recovery in Zurich and LIMES's existing locations in Germany. The company has an option to purchase the property, and the acquisition is contingent on regulatory approvals.
LIMES Schlosskliniken Group operates private clinics for stress-related illnesses, mental and emotional disorders such as depression, affective disorders, and acute burnout.
