LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: LME | OTC: LMEFF | FSE: 5YD) has reported assay results from two additional drill holes at its 100%-owned Ishkoday Gold and Polymetallic Project in Northwestern Ontario. The results, released on September 14, 2026, are part of the company's ongoing 2026 Phase 1 diamond drilling program and provide further evidence of the project's potential to host a significant mineralized system.

Drill hole LBX26-106 returned multiple intervals of gold, silver, copper, and zinc mineralization. The most notable intersection was 3.75 metres grading 0.568 g/t gold, 12.40 g/t silver, 0.46% copper, and 1.75% zinc from 278.75 metres, which included a higher-grade sub-interval of 0.50 metres grading 1.730 g/t gold, 43.20 g/t silver, 1.51% copper, and 3.40% zinc. The hole also intersected 4.70 metres grading 0.582 g/t gold, 2.53 g/t silver, 0.07% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 172.50 metres, including 0.50 metres grading 3.220 g/t gold, 9.70 g/t silver, 0.30% copper, and 6.29% zinc.

Drill hole LBX26-107, designed to test the McLeod mineralized horizon, returned 1.15 metres grading 1.374 g/t gold, 10.10 g/t silver, 0.49% copper, and 2.01% zinc from 239.80 metres, including 0.50 metres grading 1.170 g/t gold, 20.10 g/t silver, 1.03% copper, and 3.64% zinc. A second interval of 2.90 metres graded 0.608 g/t gold, 11.93 g/t silver, 0.34% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 351.40 metres, including 0.80 metres grading 1.975 g/t gold, 39.50 g/t silver, 1.45% copper, and 2.72% zinc.

These results are significant because they continue to demonstrate the presence of high-grade polymetallic mineralization at depth and along strike, which is critical for the company's goal of advancing the A-Zone toward a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The 2026 Phase 1 drill program was designed to systematically infill, expand, and explore the A-Zone and McLeod mineralized systems, with the objective of tightening drill spacing and evaluating priority geophysical targets. The successful intercepts provide additional information regarding the geometry and potential extent of mineralization, which is essential for assessing continuity within the mineralized system.

LAURION has increased its planned Phase 1 drilling from 3,865 metres to 5,605 metres across 22 drill holes. This expansion is informed by SRK Consulting's independent structural gap analysis of the A-Zone, which identified five priority target areas where additional drilling may address key gaps in the existing drill database. The company is using this framework, together with ongoing drill results, to prioritize near-term drilling as it continues to systematically advance the A-Zone. The results also support LAURION's strategy of disciplined, data-driven exploration and its focus on strengthening geological confidence, expanding the scale of the mineral system, and positioning the project for a potential future MRE.

The Ishkoday Project covers approximately 57 square kilometres within the prolific Beardmore-Geraldton and Onaman-Tashota Greenstone Belts and hosts a single 6.0 km by 2.5 km mineralized corridor. Historical and modern exploration programs have completed over 98,000 metres of drilling, confirming a large and evolving gold-rich base metal mineral system.
