Developed by Ann Alexander, a lifelong educator and science instructor, the program translates peer-reviewed developmental neuroscience into practical, daily activities for families.

The platform focuses on the "First 2,000 Days" of life, a period when the human brain forms over one million new neural connections every second. Alexander observed this disparity firsthand while teaching science in New York City public schools. The Neural Mission Series organizes these principles into six developmental stages, from the Reflexive Brain (0–2 months) to the Rule-Bound Reasoner (4–6 years).
