King Global Ventures Advances Arizona Exploration Amid U.S. Mining Workforce Push

King Global Ventures Inc. (CSE: KING) (OTCQB: KGLDF) (FSE: 5LM1) is advancing exploration at its Black Canyon/Silver Cord project near Cleator, Arizona, as U.S. federal policy increasingly emphasizes rebuilding domestic mining workforce capacity and securing critical mineral supply chains. The company is conducting a 14,000-foot diamond drill program at the Iron Horse target to test priority geophysical anomalies for potential VMS-style sulphide mineralization within the Lower Spud Mountain Formation.

Recent drilling, geological work, and XRF interpretation have identified prospective volcanic stratigraphy, hydrothermal alteration, feeder-style geochemical responses, and multiple marker horizons. Wedge drilling from hole IH-26-03 is being used to further test the target at depth. The company previously reported high-grade polymetallic veins at Silver Cord, including an intersection of 9 feet grading 619.6 g/t silver, 1.0 g/t gold, 0.6% lead, 1.05% zinc, and 375 g/t antimony.

This exploration activity occurs against a backdrop of increased federal support for mining. On August 7, 2026, the White House announced $100 million for 14 U.S. mining schools as part of more than $2 billion in new mining and mining-related investments, with over $180 million dedicated to mining school and workforce funding. King Global believes this policy environment could support domestic exploration companies targeting strategic minerals such as antimony.

The Black Canyon Project comprises 213 contiguous concessions covering 4,000 acres, including 15 former operating mines such as the past-producing Howard Copper Mine. Located 100 km north of Phoenix, the project targets copper-gold-silver-zinc VMS mineralization. The property is on trend with Arizona Metals Corp. (T:AMC), approximately 13 km to the southeast.

King Global Ventures is also advancing the Mikwam Gold Property in northeastern Ontario, situated along the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone, which hosts Detour Gold's Burntbush Property. The Mikwam deposit contains disseminated and vein-hosted gold mineralization associated with quartz-carbonate veins and pyrite.
