Florida State University student Julia Pieri has been named the recipient of the Community Impact Through Animal Service Scholarship, awarded by Blakeley Car Accident & Personal Injury Lawyers. Pieri's dedication to caring for a rescue dog named Zeke captured the attention of the firm's selection committee.
Pieri took over fostering Zeke after her friend, who was originally responsible for the dog, fell ill. Her story emphasizes the critical role of foster networks in the lives of rescue animals. Her professional aspirations are equally impressive: she spent the summer of 2026 as a Receivable Intern at SBA Communications and has secured a Tax Intern position at CohnReznick for 2027.
Upon graduation, Pieri intends to pursue a master's degree and sit for the CPA exam, aiming to specialize in tax and public accounting.
