Women in HVACR has appointed Jazmin Ramirez, Executive Director of Growth at CI Web Group, as its new Marketing Chair. Ramirez will join the organization's Board of Directors, where she will lead the marketing committee responsible for promoting the nonprofit and supporting its communications. The appointment matters because it places a leader with direct trades experience and nearly a decade of home services marketing at the helm of outreach for an organization that serves more than 1,200 members across the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
Ramirez's background is rooted in the trades themselves. Before joining CI Web Group, she held roles inside plumbing and HVAC companies, progressing from customer-facing positions into operations and marketing. In her current role, she leads CI Web Group's growth organization, overseeing sales and the customer lifecycle. That combination of hands-on industry experience and marketing leadership is expected to strengthen Women in HVACR's ability to reach women who may not yet know about its resources.
"This role is an opportunity to help more women know what Women in HVACR has to offer and how they can be part of it," Ramirez said. "There is already so much great work happening across the organization. I'm excited to help tell those stories, expand our reach and make sure more women across the industry know these resources are here for them."
As Marketing Chair, Ramirez will lead the committee that promotes Women in HVACR and supports communications throughout the organization. The committee collaborates with other Women in HVACR committees on press and industry outreach, the organization's newsletter, marketing for its annual conference, and promotion of educational programs and member resources. The implications of her appointment extend beyond internal communications: a stronger marketing push could help the organization attract new members, increase visibility for its mentoring and networking programs, and elevate the profile of women working in a traditionally male-dominated field.
