HR.com's HR Research Institute Announces 2027 Talent Acquisition Advisory Board to Guide Future Research and Industry Insights

HR.com's HR Research Institute has announced the formation of its 2027 Talent Acquisition Advisory Board, a group of experienced HR and talent acquisition (TA) professionals who will provide guidance for upcoming research and a virtual event focused on the evolving talent acquisition landscape.

The research will examine how organizations assess the effectiveness of their talent acquisition functions, the challenges they encounter, and the strategies, technologies, tools, and metrics they rely on to attract and hire talent. It will also explore how today's technology impacts the candidate and recruiter experience.

“This new board brings together deep expertise that will be instrumental in ensuring this research delivers practical, actionable insights for HR and talent acquisition leaders as they prepare for what’s next,” said Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com.

Looking ahead, the research will examine evolving hiring needs, TA priorities, automation, and emerging technologies, while identifying practices linked to stronger outcomes. These insights will also shape a corresponding virtual event in the new year, offered free to the HR community.

The Future of Talent Acquisition 2027 Virtual Event is scheduled for January 27, 2027, and registration is available at HR.com's event page.

The newly formed 2027 Future of Talent Acquisition Advisory Board features these distinguished experts: Julia Aybin, Senior Recruiting Manager at Rippling; Talia Edmundson, Founder and Principal of HRnB Consulting; Brian Gilbert, Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Nova Biomedical; Keirsten Greggs, Founder and Principal Talent Acquisition Consultant; Steve Levy, Global Talent Acquisition & Sourcing Expert; Hannah Miller, Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at St. Francis Health System; Tara Turk-Haynes, VP of People and Talent at Equity Activations; and Emily Walsh, Nurse Recruiter at UMC Health System.

The HR Research Institute releases annual "State of the Industry" reports across a variety of HR topic areas, including last year's HR.com’s Future of Talent Acquisition 2026 report on this topic.
