Greenland Mines Forms Strategic Advisory Board to Advance Critical Metals Projects

Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) has formed a Strategic Advisory Board, appointing Constantine E. Karayannopoulos, Thomas Abraham-James, and Bent Olsvig Jensen as its initial members. The board brings together deep expertise in rare earth markets, project development, and Greenland operations, positioning the company to accelerate its critical metals projects in the region.

Constantine E. Karayannopoulos has over 30 years of experience in rare earth elements, critical minerals, and advanced materials. His direct historical involvement with the Sarfartoq project, a neodymium-praseodymium (Nd-Pr) rare earths asset in southwest Greenland, provides valuable insight as Greenland Mines advances that project through technical studies and permitting. Thomas Abraham-James previously worked directly on the Skaergaard Palladium-Platinum-Gold Project in southeast Greenland, bringing exploration, project-development, and public-markets experience to the board. Bent Olsvig Jensen adds approximately 30 years of leadership and operating experience in Greenland, including mine development, operations, logistics, and stakeholder engagement, which will be critical for navigating local and regulatory landscapes.

The formation of this advisory board is significant because it signals Greenland Mines’ commitment to advancing its two core mining assets: Skaergaard and Sarfartoq. The company intends to appoint two to three additional members as it broadens the expertise and relationships available to management and its board of directors. This move comes as Greenland Mines pursues its broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor strategy, which aims to link Greenland’s resource wealth with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure.

For investors, the advisory board’s collective experience could help de-risk the company’s projects and accelerate timelines. Rare earth elements are crucial for magnets used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense applications, and supply chain diversification is a growing priority for Western nations. Greenland’s resource potential is increasingly recognized, but development requires navigating complex permitting, logistics, and community relations. The board’s expertise directly addresses these challenges.

Greenland Mines operates two divisions: Mining, focused on Skaergaard and, subject to closing a previously announced transaction, Sarfartoq; and Biotech, including Klotho’s KLTO-202 for ALS. The company’s strategy centers on building a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals, and selected midstream processing opportunities. The advisory board will support Greenland Mines as it advances Sarfartoq and Skaergaard through technical studies, permitting, commercial engagement, and integrated development planning.
