FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, a leading provider of display technology and power supply solutions, has announced a series of management appointments across its international subsidiaries. These moves are part of a strategic reorganization aimed at strengthening the second tier of management and devolving greater responsibility and decision-making authority to regional divisions. The appointments are expected to enhance the group's ability to respond to local market conditions while leveraging the strength of an internationally active organization.
In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak assumed the role of Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on 1 June 2026. He will oversee the existing production facility in Dysina and manage the planned move to a new production site, as well as the expansion of operations. FORTEC CZ manufactures electronic assemblies and DC/DC converters, and also assembles displays with touchscreens. Novak brings over 20 years of international management experience in logistics, production, automotive, and operational management. His expertise includes production and logistics management, process optimization, change management, and organizational development.
At FORTEC US, Paul Hooper took up the position of Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on 1 July 2026. Hooper previously served as Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, where he successfully reorganized and developed the sales and marketing strategy. In his new role, he will focus on driving organic growth and expanding the company's market position in the US. He will work alongside co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian to broaden the company's presence in North America. With over 30 years of experience in the international electronics industry, Hooper brings extensive expertise in market analysis, leadership, and sales.
Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK starting 8 September 2026. Evans has more than 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, with expertise in embedded computing, display technologies, and customized system solutions. His background includes a strong technical foundation in electronic engineering and extensive sales and management experience.
Patrick von Unold will become Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on 1 October 2026. FORTEC Integrated is an internationally active provider of display technology and embedded computing, and plays a key role in research and development within the group. Von Unold has many years of international management experience in the electronics industry, with expertise in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces. He has worked in sectors such as medical technology, automation, and transport, combining technical expertise with knowledge of product strategy and manufacturing processes.
