Elrod Pope Accident & Injury Attorneys, a personal injury law firm serving clients throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, has announced the launch of its 2026 Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship program. The firm will award two deserving students from these states with academic scholarships of $5,000 each, totaling $10,000.
The scholarship aims to honor the firm's history and support future leaders in the Carolinas. It is named after Luke Elrod and Jack Leader, whose integrity, dedication to the law, and community service continue to inspire the firm. By awarding these scholarships, the firm seeks to encourage the next generation to pursue careers rooted in excellence, service, and purpose, ensuring that Luke's and Jack's legacy endures.
To compete for a scholarship, students must be eligible in South Carolina or North Carolina, complete the application form, and submit a minimum 1,000-word essay on the issue of drunk driving among young adults. The firm is seeking thoughtful, well-researched ideas that offer a fresh perspective on the dangers of drinking and driving. Complete information about the Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship, including terms and conditions, is available on the law firm's website.
Only one application per student is allowed. Students must follow the program's terms and conditions, complete all application requirements, and submit their application by March 1, 2026. The firm will announce the winners on April 1, 2026.
