Desert Sky Roofing, a veteran-owned roofing contractor that has served Tucson families for years, is now operating under a new name: DSR Roofing. The company announced the rebranding on June 13, 2026, assuring customers that while the name is shorter, everything that matters about the business remains exactly the same.
“We simplified the name to better reflect who we’ve become,” said owner Bill Kimbley, who served more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force before starting the company with his son. “But the heart of it doesn’t change. Tucson is home. These are our neighbors. A lot of the people we started out working for, we now call friends, and some of them feel like family.”
According to the company, the core mission of DSR Roofing is to protect homeowners from unethical contractors by providing “legendary roofing experiences.” This means delivering exceptional service from the first inspection to the final walkthrough, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The company reports that its clients often refer friends and family, a testament to the standard the new name carries forward.
