CTS EVENTIM, Europe's leading ticketing and live entertainment company and second largest worldwide, reported robust financial results for the first quarter of 2026, with consolidated revenue increasing by 23.0% to €613.5 million compared to the same period in 2025. The Group's adjusted EBITDA rose by 18.5% to €118.9 million, maintaining a stable adjusted EBITDA margin of 19.4%. These figures underscore the company's continued growth trajectory following a strong prior year.
In the Live Entertainment segment, adjusted EBITDA surged by 151.1% to €29.1 million, driven by successful tours and events across multiple markets, including US tours and popular events in Germany. The segment's revenue climbed 38.3% to €403.6 million, pushing the adjusted EBITDA margin to 7.2%. CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg attributed the strong start to the company's international position and close cooperation with promoters, artists, and partners, providing a solid foundation for sustained growth.
The Ticketing segment also posted growth, with revenue up 2.5% to €219.0 million and adjusted EBITDA rising 1.2% to €89.8 million. The adjusted EBITDA margin remained stable at 41.0%. However, changes to the partnership with Stage Entertainment affected comparability with the first quarter of 2025. Excluding this effect, ticketing revenue expanded by over 6%. As reported in April 2026, the contract with Stage Entertainment has been extended long-term as a retail partnership, ensuring continued collaboration.
Venue activities contributed positively, notably the new Unipol Dome in Milan, which hosted 53 ice hockey matches of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, attracting more than 400,000 fans. This event highlighted CTS EVENTIM's ability to leverage its venue portfolio for major international events.
Looking ahead, the Executive Board confirmed that the first-quarter performance aligns with expectations for the full year 2026. CTS EVENTIM, which generated €3.1 billion in revenue across over 25 countries in 2025, continues to strengthen its market position. The company's systems market over 300 million tickets annually through mobile, online, and physical box offices, and it ranks as the second-biggest promoter globally according to Pollstar's 2025 rankings.
