Critical Infrastructure Technologies Forms Joint Venture to Develop Arctic-Ready Autonomous Nexus Platform

Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CSE: CTTT) (OTC: CITLF) (FRA: X9V), a developer of autonomous mobile communications and security platforms, announced a joint venture to develop and commercialize an Arctic-ready version of its Nexus platform. The equally owned JV will focus on advancing the Arctic Nexus system for testing and deployment in extreme-environment conditions, targeting defence and industrial markets.

Under the proposed agreement, CiTech will contribute a Nexus platform unit and provide engineering support to adapt the system for Arctic conditions. The JV partners will collaborate on new intellectual property, including Arctic readiness, sensor integration, and scaled deployment. The Arctic Nexus platform is designed to support communications, monitoring, and operations in remote environments, particularly for northern defence and industrial applications.

The joint venture aligns with growing strategic activity in northern regions. Canada’s recent announcement of a $32 billion plan for far north defence upgrades, as reported by the National Post, underscores the increasing demand for Arctic surveillance and communications infrastructure. The Arctic Nexus platform is positioned to support these deployments.

Brenton Scott, CEO of Critical Infrastructure Technologies, stated: “This partnership will establish an important step in expanding the Nexus platform into Arctic and remote operating environments.” The JV will also establish a facility in British Columbia to support integration and Arctic testing, and seek customers and partners across North America.

Critical Infrastructure Technologies, listed on the CSE with operations in Perth, Australia, focuses on autonomous, rapidly deployable technology for mining, defence, border security, and emergency services. Its Nexus platform provides mobile telecommunications and supports payloads such as LTE, surveillance, and anti-drone systems. The company has completed research and development and is commercializing its first products.
