Circus SE (WKN: A2YN35 / ISIN: DE000A2YN355 / XETRA: CA1) has announced the appointment of Jürgen Thamm to its Supervisory Board, a move that brings extensive operational expertise to the company as it scales its autonomous robotics deployments. Shareholders elected Thamm at the Annual General Meeting with a 98.35 percent approval rate.
Thamm brings more than two decades of leadership in the global food service sector, having served as Regional Director Continental Europe and as a member of the Executive Committee at Compass Group, one of the world's largest food services companies, which serves over 5.5 billion meals annually across offices, schools, hospitals, and sports venues. His responsibilities included overseeing operations across multiple countries and thousands of sites, giving him a deep understanding of complex, distributed logistics.
This appointment comes at a pivotal time for Circus, which launched commercial operations just ten months ago and is on track to have more than 50 autonomous systems live across nine countries by year-end. These deployments span enterprise and defence customers, including the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and Ukrainian ground forces. Thamm's track record in scaling such operations is expected to add a new dimension of operational governance to Circus's board.
