BRAVE Coalition Foundation (Breast Restoration Advocacy & Education) has announced a generous donation from Johnson & Johnson, continuing a partnership that began in 2018. The contribution supports the foundation's mission of providing education, advocacy, and equitable access for women considering breast reconstruction after cancer.
Johnson & Johnson's ongoing support, which has spanned nearly a decade, reflects a shared commitment to empowering women with knowledge and resources throughout their breast reconstruction journey. The donation will fund patient education programs, surgeon collaboration, community outreach, and survivor resources.
"Support like this allows us to expand our reach and deepen our impact," said Lisa Shumpert, President of BRAVE Coalition Foundation. "Johnson & Johnson's continued investment in our mission underscores the importance of standing beside patients—not just during treatment, but throughout their entire reconstruction and healing process."
The BRAVE Coalition Foundation, founded in 2012 by Dr. Allen Gabriel and Dr. Christine Grogan, is the first 501(c)(3) charitable foundation dedicated to promoting education and awareness about breast reconstruction options. The organization works to remove barriers to care, regardless of insurance coverage or socioeconomic status, and advocates for informed choice.
This donation will enable BRAVE Coalition to continue its efforts nationwide, ensuring women have the resources and support they need to make informed decisions about their bodies and recovery. For more information or to donate, visit www.bravecoalition.org.
