Yacoub was selected for his work as a business immigration attorney and legal scholar, particularly his representation of clients in employment-based immigration matters.
Yacoub, based in Orlando, represents clients nationwide in cases involving EB-2 National Interest Waiver and EB-1 Extraordinary Ability petitions. His personal experience with the immigration system sets him apart: he himself obtained permanent residency through the National Interest Waiver process. This firsthand knowledge informs his practice, allowing him to understand the stakes for the professionals, entrepreneurs, physicians, scientists, and investors he assists. "Immigration cases are rarely just paperwork. They decide where someone builds a career, raises a family and contributes their work," Yacoub said. He earned a Master of Laws in International Law from New York University School of Law, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and served as a graduate editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.
