The City of Boerne has unveiled a comprehensive schedule of classic car shows and automotive events for 2026, underscoring the region's deep-rooted car culture and community engagement. The lineup, which includes vintage tractor shows, European motor gatherings, and American muscle car exhibitions, reflects a blend of tradition, passion, and Texas pride.
Key events begin on March 7 with the Power of the Past at The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center, celebrating 40 years with vintage cars, engines, and tractors, live music, reenactors, food vendors, and awards for Top 30 Vehicles and Best in Show. On March 28, the Italian Motor Gathering returns to Main Plaza for its seventh year, open to all Italian marques and free for spectators. The Texas Corvette Association Open Car Show, now in its 33rd year, will take over Main Street on April 18 with nearly 500 Corvettes and classic vehicles, live music, food trucks, and a silent auction benefiting SJRC Texas.
Black Rifle Coffee Company will host three Black Rifle Block Parties on April 18, July 4, and September 26, featuring live music, food, and car shows. The Hill Country Mile Rod Run, hosted by Cibolo Creek Motor Club from October 2-4, welcomes American cars, trucks, and motorcycles from 1985 and older. October 24 brings the South Texas All British Car Day at Main Plaza, showcasing British-made automobiles, followed by the German Motor Gathering on October 31, the premier exhibition of German motoring in the Texas Hill Country, open to all German marques on two or four wheels and free for spectators.
These events not only celebrate automotive heritage but also support local nonprofits, museums, and family-owned small businesses along the Hill Country Mile. According to Tori Bellos, Marketing Specialist at Visit Boerne, the gatherings are about community, history, and Texas pride, offering something for collectors, spectators, and enthusiasts alike.
Vehicle registration, schedules, and parking maps are available online. Many events are free for spectators and include live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. Proceeds from several shows benefit local charities including SJRC Texas. For the full calendar, visit the Boerne Calendar of Events in 2026.
