The "Charm'tastic Mile" is the only U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)-registered trademark street in Baltimore and Maryland, joining the ranks of Chicago's Magnificent Mile, Rodeo Drive, and the Las Vegas Strip. Its trademark was published on September 15, 2020. The corridor was officially introduced to the city on April 25, 2016, the same date as the iconic Domino Sugars neon sign, which debuted 65 years earlier.
Mayor Brandon Scott issued a Certificate of Recognition, and Governor Wes Moore provided a Governor's Citation for the 10th anniversary.
