AUTODOC Enters Institutional Debt Markets with EUR 530 Million Term Loan B

AUTODOC, Europe's leading online retailer of automotive spare parts and accessories, has successfully placed a EUR 530 million Term Loan B, marking its debut in institutional debt markets. The transaction, announced on July 16, 2026, also includes a EUR 50 million Revolving Credit Facility, bringing total financing to EUR 580 million. The Term Loan B carries an interest rate of EURIBOR +3.50% and has a 7-year tenor, rated Ba3 with stable outlook by Moody’s and B+ with positive outlook by S&P.

This move is a strategic milestone for AUTODOC, as it transitions from a privately financed company to one with public debt supported by a broad base of institutional investors. The proceeds from the Term Loan B will be used to repurchase shares held by entities owned or controlled by Apollo-managed funds, enhancing shareholder returns without equity dilution. The company’s current net debt-free balance sheet provided a unique opportunity to introduce this financing structure, according to CFO Lennart Schmidt.

The transaction is part of a broader corporate restructuring, with Autodoc Holding SE established as the new parent company, wholly owned by AutoTech GmbH & Co. KG, the investment vehicle of founders Alexej Erdle, Max Wegner, and Vitalij Kungel. CEO Dmitri Zadorojnii emphasized that this financing sharpens the company's focus and prepares it for future capital market chapters, including a potential IPO, which remains on the agenda pending market conditions.

By entering institutional debt markets, AUTODOC gains long-term financial flexibility and a track record with investors, positioning itself for continued growth as Europe's leading automotive aftermarket tech ecosystem. The company plans to leverage advanced AI and data-driven decision-making to enhance its digital platform for customers and professional partners.
