Workers must understand how AI automates or augments tasks at a granular level, potentially reconfiguring roles without changing job titles. The impact on entry-level jobs remains unclear, but increased AI use could disrupt traditional career pathways. Adoption rates will vary across sectors due to incentives, workflows, and institutional constraints.
The report emphasizes that enduring skills include not only digital and technical abilities but also critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability. Skilled labor is also needed for AI infrastructure like data centers. Education must shift from front-loaded learning to flexible models that use AI as a training tool.
